The Salis House in Jenins, built after the village fire in 1745, is a significant manor house with a spacious orchard. It served as the ancestral home of the Salis-Jenins family and often hosted Johanna Spyri, the author of Heidi.

The Protestant Church in Malans, with its slender church tower and late Gothic nave, displays tomb inscriptions of the noble families of Gugelberg, von Planta, and von Salis. The interior is kept in a simple late Baroque style.

The Sächserseeli is located at 2099 m above sea level and is fed by underground springs. It offers a view of the 2523-meter-high Magerrain. A hike to the Spitzmeilenhütte and the Maadseeli is recommended.
