Alvaschein/Alvaschagn has an intact village centre. It is located on a terrace high above the Albula dammed up to the Solis reservoir, the Solis Bridge of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) and the church of St. Peter in Mistail.

The Sala Segantini is run by the Pro Segantini association. Until further notice, an exhibition with Segantini's design sketch for the Savognin Church Nossadonna will be shown from June 2026. The exhibition "La Skizza en splendur" also sheds light on Segantini's relationship to God, nature and the church.

The Reformed Church in Filisur was originally dedicated to Saint Martin. The church is highly medieval in terms of its building fabric. In 1489 the choir was rebuilt and the tower enlarged. The church was renovated in 1746 and restored for the last time in 1956.
