20 minutes' drive from Davos lies the Sertig Valley, the "oasis of tranquillity". The romantic side valley is the ideal starting point for leisurely hikes and challenging mountain tours. The Sertig Trail and the legendary Alps Epic Trail are popular with bikers. The Walser village of the same name with the little church "Hinter den Eggen" built in 1699 is particularly enchanting.

The “old post office” in Safien Platz opens its doors for special exhibitions. At the moment, an exhibition on “the beginnings of summer and winter tourism in the Safien Valley” is on display.

The Patrutgsee on the Heinzenberg is a little paradise for the whole family with a marvellous view of the majestic Piz Beverin (2998 m above sea level). There are five fireplaces around the lake.
