Stierva is a cluster village high above the left side of the Albula. It lies on the eastern slope of a mountain range with the Curvér Pintg da Taspegn (2,731 m above sea level) and the Muttner Horn (2,401 m above sea level).

The church of Lavin with its restored paintings from 1490 to 1500, is one of the most famous and worth seeing art monuments in Graubünden. On the church tour you will get an insight into the history of the church as well as the village.

The Cuolm da Latsch vantage point is located at almost 2,300 metres with a 360-degree panorama. Down in the valley you can see Filisur and Bergün. You can reach the lookout point in winter with snowshoes or in summer on foot from Stuls/Stugl and Bergün.
