The Hinterrhein rises from the Rheinwaldhorn (3402 metres above sea level) and the Rheinquellhorn (3200 metres above sea level) at the far end of the valley. Where you can sometimes see the Paradise Glacier glistening in the sun.

During the Arosa school holidays in summer and autumn, the library is open on Monday and Friday from 15:30 to 17:00 and on Thursday from 19:00 to 20:30! During the May holidays, the library is only open on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.!
