Description
You’re walking with a Swiss Ranger through Giessen Park at dusk. He shows you various species of bats in their natural habitat. Using the latest technology, the Ranger makes the sounds of the bats audible. You observe the little mammals and learn about their hunting techniques. With a bit of luck, you might also spot rare species like the Alpine bat or watch the water bat hunting for mosquitoes. **Practical Information:** + Paid parking available at Giessen Park + By public transport: Giessen Park is a 15-minute walk from Bad Ragaz train station
Swiss Activities Tip
You can grab a bite at the park restaurant before your evening stroll in Giessenpark, if you want. The restaurant is located right next to the swimming pool and camping site, offering a mix of Mediterranean and traditional Swiss cuisine. It's open from Wednesday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
