50 years of gold medals – with Heini Hemmi

Heini Hemmi, a former ski racer from Churwalden, won four giant slalom races in the Ski World Cup and in the 1976/77 season the small crystal globe for winning the discipline World Cup, also in giant slalom.

His greatest success was winning the gold medal in the giant slalom at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck.

Heini Hemmi shares impressions from his successful career as a top athlete and the victory of the gold medal 50 years ago at the storytelling café in the Vaz/Obervaz Museum.
