Around Berio II - Musik aus Italien und der Schweiz

Works by Luciano Berio, Salvatore Sciarrino, Kate Soper and Nadir Vassena come together in a program characterized by multiple forms of dialogue – from the introspective "monologues" of the solo works, in which breath, silence and theatrical gesture become expressive partners, to the lively and dynamic exchange processes between the musicians in the duo and trio works.

Together, the works reveal dialogues not only between the musicians, but also between sound and silence, text and music, as well as theatricality and introspection. The result is a program that invites the audience to an intensive form of listening.
