Familienkonzert „Münchhausen“ - Flimsfestival 2026

We tell you about the life of Hieronymus Carl Friedrich Freiherr von Münchhausen. During the duck hunt in Dunte, Latvia, he is said to have started exaggerating in public for the first time. He tells stories in which it is clear to everyone that this cannot be the case, but nevertheless everyone listens, is enthusiastic, hangs on his every word. Fake news 300 years ago, for the entertainment and amusement of those present.

We'll share some of his best stories – we all know the one with the cannonball, but you'll be amazed at what else has sprung from his imagination! For young and old, and the bar pianist Michael Poliak can really play. He has experienced and heard pretty much everything on board many cruise ships, accompanied thousands of hours at the most sophisticated hotel bars around the world. Now he has become at home in Switzerland and shakes more than 300 well-known hits out of his sleeve with playful ease.
