Filmvorführung "Deep Rising"

The documentary traces how multinational corporations are currently lobbying to soon be able to mine valuable metals on the seabed – despite dramatic effects on a unique ecosystem. The film accompanies the CEO of "The Metals Company" at investor meetings up close, while the company is already conducting exploration trips on the seabed with huge mining machines. The impressive underwater footage provides a unique insight into the habitat of fascinating animal species that are normally hidden from us humans.
