Free pass Graubünden - Car-free Splügen Pass

Experience the 25.5-kilometre historic route between Splügen (CH) and Campodolcino (IT) - a winding mountain trail through impressive mountain landscapes, completely free of traffic.
Ideal for families, groups and individuals: The route delights young and old alike. Along the way, refreshment stops in Splügen, at the top of the pass and in Campodolcino provide the necessary sustenance.

Getting there
The journey is easy: take the Rhaetian Railway to Thusis and then the PostBus directly to Splügen.

Bicycle transportation
Together with PostBus Graubünden, bicycle transportation between Thusis and Splügen will be possible as follows:

• Additional courses run at 08.35 and 10.35 from Thusis to Splügen (separate vehicle with a bike trailer, 16-20 seats) and at 14.09 and 16.09 from Splügen to Thusis (separate vehicle with a bike trailer, 16-20 seats).
• On all other public transport routes (also from Mesocco, Stazione to Splügen, mountain railroads), 5 rear bike racks are available.
• Reservations for bicycle transport (also for the sidecars) can be made via the SBB app or online.
