Nor is there anyone who loves, seeks or desires pain for its own sake, simply because it is pain, unless there are exceptional circumstances in which hardship and pain might bring them great joy. To take a trivial example, who among us ever subjects themselves to strenuous physical exercise, except to derive benefits from it? But who has any right to reproach a person who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no unpleasant consequences, or one who avoids pain that brings no resulting pleasure?Blank lines must be displayed, even without having to set a corresponding HTML tag.
