Culture at the Montag_Nebel in the Village – Reading and Dialogue with Lea Catrina and Flurina Badel, Aux Losanges

Independently of each other, without even knowing each other, the two authors Lea Catrina and Flurina Badel have written novels that are dedicated to the same highly topical topics: housing shortage, overtourism and the class gap in Graubünden. Flurina Badel, with "Tschiera", a novel written in Vallader and set in the Lower Engadine, tells of the unavoidable need to say goodbye to a place that is no longer the home it once was. And Lea Catrina with "Waldbad", a novel set in the fictional town of the same name in Graubünden that focuses on overtourism, social inequality and the sometimes silent struggle of the locals for their homeland. Both authors started working on these novels after returning from a longer stay abroad to the village of their childhood. They will talk about this urgency, about their literary work in general and the choice of unique narrative voices in their books during the evening at Aux Losanges Tschiertschen.
