The Austrian pianist Martin Nöbauer has made an international name for himself with prizes at the Beethoven Competition Vienna and as a finalist at the 2023 Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Concert tours have taken him through Europe to the Dubai Opera, and his Chopin recording "Chanter avec les doigts" received great attention.
Today, Nöbauer inspires with technical brilliance, sound imagination and a passionate stage presence.
In Chur, he will present a programme that combines two pillars of the piano literature: Beethoven's famous "Moonlight Sonata" and the radiant "Waldstein Sonata" meet Chopin's poetic world – from the Mazurkas op. 50 on the Impromptu op. 51 to the great F minor Fantasy and the Ballad No. 3.
An evening between classical clarity and romantic passion, carried by virtuosity and expressiveness.
