For this book, Martin Stihl-Koch spent many hours on foot and by bike, met many people in St. Antönien who showed him their work in the summer and told him about their lives, and discovered some things that were also new to him.

Martin Stihl-Koch, born in 1955, grew up in Schiers and still lives there today. After training as a primary school teacher and teaching practice in Arosa, he trained as a carpenter and in catechetics. Until his retirement, he taught at the Protestant Middle School and at the Palottis Education Center in Schiers.
