Nipple Jesus von Nick Hornby (gdl_932088290_image)

David used to be a bouncer in a nightclub. After a few dicey situations, he looks for a quieter job and becomes a museum guard. Until now, he had hardly anything to do with art.

Right at the beginning, he is supposed to guard a controversial work: a picture of Jesus on the cross. From a distance it looks familiar, but up close you can see that it is composed of nipples, cut out of magazines.

David is repulsed at first and doesn't understand why such a thing should be art. But the longer he observes the image and the reactions of the audience, the more his attitude begins to falter. When he meets the artist, things get even more complicated for him.

What begins as a simple job becomes an encounter for David with a world in which nothing is as clear as it seems.
