On 14 June 2026, Scuol Classics invites you to a public rehearsal in Plaz in Scuol. The entire orchestra and choir will give an insight into the rehearsal work for Carl Orff's large-scale project "Carmina Burana".
After the successful performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony in 2024, another major musical event in the Lower Engadin will now follow: Carmina Burana, performed with the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus from San Francisco under the direction of Urs Leonhardt Steiner.
Around 130 to 150 musicians from Graubünden and the USA unite to form a unique cultural bridge. Martin Zimmermann will conduct the choir on site, accompanied by Cinzia Regensburger & Isabella Kania as répétiteur.
An impressive moment for everyone – music as a common language across borders.
