3 tour days: Saturday 7 – Monday 9 March 2026

In these three days we explore the beautiful snowshoe area around Ilanz. This offer does not include an overnight stay, so you can choose the place to stay according to your needs. I am happy to help you find suitable hotels or accommodation.

We meet every morning at about 9:00 a.m. at Ilanz train station (coordinated with the public transport connection of the individual participants). From there we discover the beautiful snowshoe landscapes of the lower Surselva.
Day 1

The Val Lumnezia: on the first day we discover the beautiful sunny slopes of the Val Lumnezia and walk through forest, across meadows and along many black-burnt stables to Obersaxen.
Day 2

Viewpoint over Ilanz: on the second day we discover the beautiful plateau between Riein and Dutjen: through forests and over snow-covered moorland we reach a beautiful lookout ridge with views far into the Vals Valley.
Day 3

Spring fever on the southern slope: the last day takes us to the other side of the valley to Siat. Over forests and meadows we reach a vantage point and perhaps already enjoy the first signs of spring awakening before we descend in a large arc back to our starting point.

Attention: I reserve the right to adjust the program spontaneously depending on the conditions (weather, snow conditions) or to move the individual day tours to another location.
