Get to know the concept of permaculture and let permaculture designer Karin Roth inspire you to implement permaculture approaches in your own garden step by step. It's not about cultivating a perfect garden, but just by making minor adjustments, your garden can become more resilient and self-sustaining.
Karin Roth cultivates a 2000 square metre permaculture garden in Thusis (Nollagarten) and therefore not only shares her wealth of experience in humus formation, snail management, living soil or gentle soil cultivation with you. She also brings exciting illustrative material such as a worm farm or a microscope for observing springtails – small beneficial insects with a big effect in the compost.
After this introduction to permaculture, we will soon go outside and look at potentials and examples directly in various gardens in Donat!
At the end, we invite you to a convivial and professional exchange over an aperitif with local (garden) products.

Rough program

  • 6.00 pm Introduction to permaculture + illustrative material (Altes Schulhaus)
  • 6.30 pm Visit to various gardens
  • 8.15 p.m. Aperitif with platters & garden snacks (Altes Schulhaus)

Online registration required by August 28 here

The event is aimed at people interested in gardening. You don't have to be a professional or have a huge garden. The event takes place in all weathers. Therefore, bring weather-appropriate clothing (rain protection if necessary), as well as sturdy shoes and note material!
