Studienkonzert der EMS Schiers

The young musicians prepared intensively for this special evening for several weeks. The audience can expect a varied concert with singing and instrumental contributions from piano and trombone to marimba to cello and violin. Solo interpretations, chamber music formations and ensemble contributions characterize the program. The concert programme spans an arc from Telemann's Baroque Sonata, to Argentine dances by Alberto Ginastera, piano etudes by Frédéric Chopin, to expressionist songs by Leonard Bernstein.

The music high school of the EMS Schiers works closely with the Stella Vorarlberg Private University of Music. The partnership opens up the opportunity for talented young musicians to deepen their musical skills in a targeted manner and at the same time complete the baccalaureate. Graduates can then go directly to a bachelor's degree at a music college.
