Summer concert Zuoz

Four outstanding cellists unite to form a sonically captivating ensemble. In virtuosic arrangements for cello quartet, the full expressive power of the cello unfolds – from classical elegance to profoundly moving emotion.

The program ranges from Mozart's sparkling overture to Le nozze di Figaro and Schumann's passionate Cello Concerto in A minor (soloist: Maximilian Hornung) to Samuel Barber's touching Adagio for Strings, David Popper's fiery Hungarian Rhapsody, and Ernest Bloch's poignant Three Scenes from Jewish Life. An intense concert evening brimming with tonal colors, virtuosity, and musical depth.
