Weingut Wegelin

Rafael Hug and his wife, oenologist Mathilde Hug Pédeutour, have been running the Wegelin winery since 2019. They consistently vinify their top wines according to individual vineyard sites, which gives the range additional depth and makes the expression of the vineyard clearly perceptible. In addition to various white wines, their hearts beat especially for Pinot Noir.
The quality of a wine is shaped by its origin. An understanding of their magnificent vineyards accompanies their daily work in the vineyard: they tend each individual vine with dedication, knowing that great wines are based on this work. They give the vines what they need to produce characterful and authentic grapes — nature is their greatest asset. They work according to organic and biodynamic guidelines and with the utmost respect for the soil and the environment.
