217 Bergün - Latsch - Stuls

The route starts at the train station in Bergün and follows a section of the road towards Stuls. The road turns into a winter hiking trail, which steadily gently ascends through a forest to the Buorchas junction. There you have the opportunity to take a detour to Stuls. The small village, especially the little church, is always worth a visit.

From Buorchas, the hiking trail follows the road towards Latsch, from where you enjoy a stunning view over Bergün and the Albula Valley. On the way to Latsch, you can extend the walk a bit: On the right side, the trail branches off to the panoramic trail, which after a sunny loop leads back to the road.

The mountain village of Latsch, overlooking Bergün, was the filming location for the Heidi movies in 1952 and 2014. Perhaps you can hear stories about the filming at a small refreshment in the village restaurant before you set off for the descent via Latscherhalde back to the family-friendly holiday resort of Bergün.
