Description
This moderately difficult, varied hike offers magnificent views of the mountains and beautiful Lake Walen.
Hidden Gem
Before the hike, you can fortify yourself for the 4-summit tour in the Maschgenkamm panorama restaurant. Or cool down on your return to Tannenboden with a delicious ice cream or aperitif in the COLORS restaurant and bar.

Equipment
Day hiking backpack (approx. 20 liters) with rain cover, sturdy and comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate and hard-wearing clothing in multiple layers, telescopic poles if necessary, sun and rain protection, provisions and drinking water, first aid kit, pocket knife, cell phone, headlamp if necessary, maps
Directions
The hike starts on the Maschgenkamm, and the easiest way to get there is to take the 8-seater BergJet gondola lift. The cable car has gondolas with panoramic views, so the ride itself is a real experience.
From the Maschgenkamm, you go from summit to summit. First you climb the Ziger. At 2074 m, this is the highest peak on the hiking route. Before continuing above the Gruebhütte in the direction of Cuncels and Chli Güslen.
A highlight awaits on the last summit, Gross Güslen - the view towards Lake Zurich and Lake Walen is indescribable. Here you can switch off, take a deep breath and relax.

Public Transport
Daily from Zurich with the S25 to Ziegelbrücke and change to the S4 to Unterterzen from St. Gallen with the S4 directly to Unterterzen from Zurich and Chur with the RE to Walenstadt and change to bus 444 to Unterterzen
From Unterterzen the 8-seater gondola takes you directly to the Flumserberg to the valley station Tannenboden. Then take the gondola lift to the Maschgenkamm panorama restaurant.
Arrival by train to Flums and post bus to Flumserberg Tannenboden
Daily to Flums or Sargans, continue with bus 441 in the direction of Flumserberg to the Tannenboden stop, cable car. Then take the gondola lift to the Maschgenkamm panorama restaurant.
Travel Information
Parking
The parking spaces are chargeable from 07.00 to 17.00. From 17.00 to 02.00 we may leave the car free of charge.
After 02.00 to 07.00 there is a night parking ban. There are sufficient night parking spaces in the Tannenboden multi-storey car park or in the Tannenheim.
The night car park can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
