Description

The route leads mostly downhill from the valley station of the Gotschnabahn over paved roads or simple natural paths towards Klosters village and then further to the picturesque Walser village of Serneus. Between Klosters village and Serneus, the route gently follows the Landquart. The impressive 525-meter-long Sunniberg Bridge is crossed underneath. It is worth taking a look at the massive height of the bridge pillars here. In Serneus, the ascent to Schifer begins with initially pleasant inclines. From the Schifer valley station, the route then becomes somewhat steeper over forest roads and trails up to Alp Casanna. Now follows the enjoyable and fast descent to Serneuser Schwendi. A short break is worthwhile here before the final descent back to Klosters. The descent leads over good forest roads through Cavadürli, Rüti back to Klosters Platz, where the eventful bike route ends after about four hours.

Hidden Gem

A refreshing stop at the Serneuser Schwendi is highly recommended.

Safety Note

In the Davos Klosters destination, there are many alpine farms with livestock. It is therefore to be expected to encounter animals everywhere. We ask for appropriate consideration and to ride the terrain at a suitable pace.
