Description

The start of our cable car tour is on the Cuolm Sura. After the first ride on the chairlift, the first descent is already waiting for you: Beautiful single trails lead back towards Cuolm Sura, where you get on the chairlift again.

Now the most challenging section of the tour is ahead. From Piz Mundaun, a steep, crisp single trail leads down towards Triel. Technical passages and varied trail sections provide a real enduro feeling here. Along the Chischnersbach, the terrain becomes a little quieter again and you can relax and enjoy the view on the way to the Triel chairlift station.

In Triel, it's time again: bike on the track and leisurely up to the Hitzeggen. Once at the top, it's worth taking a short break. The magnificent view over the two valleys is the perfect prelude to the last descent of the tour.

Here, too, the trail fun begins on varied single trails, where you can really let it run again. Shortly before the Tegia Bar, you change to a leisurely alpine road. This leads you through idyllic mountain pastures and shady forests back to Triel.

From there you follow Route 211 in the direction of Graubünden Rigi. After leisurely pedaling, you will finally reach the Cuolm Sura again, and thus the starting point of a varied cable car tour with three cable car rides, crisp trails and fantastic views.

Hidden Gem

If you haven't had enough of fast-paced descents after this tour, the freeride route from Cuolm Sura to Flond and on to Ilanz is worthwhile.

Alternatively, the tour can also be started from Triel.

Please note the operating hours of the Obersaxen Mundaun cable cars.

Safety Note

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the tour, you should turn back in time.

Respect other trail users - trail tolerance!
