The car-free high plateau of Bargis offers peace and the joy of pure nature. Surrounded by impressive rocks, mountains and forests, you can breathe freely here and leave everyday life behind. This cozy winter hike starts in the high valley and leads down into the valley and back to Flims.

Directions

Since the road to Bargis is private, you can only reach the starting point by local bus from Flims Post. Once at the top, you are greeted by a picturesque mountain backdrop at 1,549 meters. From Bargis, the path first takes you through the Val Turnigla to the edge of the forest and then continues along the road. And since all that mountain air makes you hungry, the Fidazerhof in Fidaz invites you to stop for a meal. Here you can warm up and recharge before tackling the last stretch back to Flims.

The road to bargis is private – driving is not allowed.

By car via motorway A13 from Zurich, exit 18, direction Flims Dorf.

750 parking spaces in Flims Bergbahnen parking garage or

at the edge of forest parking Fidaz, 30 parking spaces.
