Details
Description
Equipped with a morning snack and water, start from Trin village initially on an asphalt road through the forest up to Alp Mora. Soon Crap Uera is reached, where an unforgettable view of the Rhine Gorge and the Flims rockslide is offered. You pass the mountain hamlet Maliens and cross the Maliens stream for the first time. The forest road now climbs steeply by 300 meters in altitude. The path leads through the forest, providing refreshing shade and repeatedly offering views into the Safien valley and of Piz Beverin.
Once at the top, you can park your bike and reach the famous glacial mills in a short time, where cooling off is guaranteed even in high summer. In good weather, the alpine meadows invite you to pause and offer the ideal spot for a snack with a panoramic view.
Return to Trin follows the same path; be careful of oncoming traffic when descending to Trin!
The route is suitable for beginners with and without e-bikes. Confident riding on gravel roads is a prerequisite.
For very skilled and fearless enduro bikers, the descent into Bargistal (not signposted) is a challenging alternative.
