From Bargis via Scala Mola and Mutta Bella over the Cassons to Segnes.
Details
Description
A varied route over beautiful trails and with great views.
Hidden Gem
At the alpine hut or the mountain station of the Milch cable car at 2054m above sea level, drinks are available (self-service, bring cash!). The route passes close by. Poles can make the ascent and descent a bit easier. The mountain restaurant Segnes hut is located at the end of the route. From here, take the cable car back to Flims.
Safety Note
The route is weather- and wind-exposed. Avoid Fil de Cassons during thunderstorms. From spring to summer, snowfields can be expected at higher altitudes. On the ascent in the area of Mutta Bella, trails and path tracks are not always visible and therefore difficult to find in fog. A map and location on a mobile phone can be helpful.
Equipment
Trail running shoes, running backpack, drinks (no water points at the top), wind/rain jacket, sun protection as well as possibly poles
