Description

This medium-difficulty winter hike offers everything that a varied winter hike should include. You can get to the Chrüz starting point either on foot or by taking the Chrüz chairlift from Tannenboden. A short, crisp ascent brings us up to operating temperature, after which we enjoy a pleasant walk through snow-covered woodland towards the tour destination of Prodalp. Views of the surrounding mountain panorama and the nearby ski slopes open up again and again.

Geheimtipp

At the end of the hike you can enjoy a toboggan run to the Tannenheim and then free of charge with the Postbus back to the Tannenboden.

Normal winter hiking equipment, sturdy shoes.

Directions

Once you arrive at the mountain restaurant, you cross the ski slope. Behind the valley station of the Stelli chairlift follows a short, steep ascent through the sparse forest, before the path leads comfortably and with a magnificent view, slightly downhill to the Prodalp.

By train to Flums or Sargans, then by bus 441 direction Flumserberg to the stop Tannenboden.

Anreise Information

Motorway exit Flums/Flumserberg, follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenboden.

Parking

Public parking available at the Tannenboden.

Parking is available from 07.00 to 17.00. From 17.00 to 02.00 we are allowed to leave the car for free.

After 02.00 to 07.00 a.m. there is a night parking ban. There are plenty of night parking spaces in the Tannenboden multi-storey car park or in the Tannenheim.

The night car park can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
