Description
The church and chapel hike in the municipality of Sumvitg leads the hiker past five different churches and chapels. Each is special and different in architectural style and age. From Rabius, the route leads up to the sunny slope at Campieschas and then over to S. Benedetg. From the viewpoint “Chick” near S. Benedetg, a wonderful view can be enjoyed. Very close by is also the well-known St. Benedetg chapel by Peter Zumthor. The circular route can be walked from either Rabius or Sumvitg as desired. Along the way, there are several restaurants and shops that can take care of the hiker’s physical well-being.
