Description
The circular hike to Guschachopf begins in the center of Bad Ragaz on Valenserstrasse. The route leads along a wide path past bodies of water, a youth guard house, and the St. Anna Chapel. In autumn, it is worth glancing to the right and left. There is a good chance of encountering mushrooms. The last part of the ascent leads up stairs to the Guschachopf viewpoint. The sunny spot invites you to linger and take a deep breath. The panoramic view reveals many details of the region, such as the Tamina bridge rising above the treetops.
The descent mostly follows a well-developed hiking trail through the forest. Only a short section must be walked on the paved road before returning to the hiking path. The hike ends again in the center of Bad Ragaz.
