Description
The circular hike to the Guschachopf starts in the center of Bad Ragaz on Valenserstrasse. The route leads along a wide path past bodies of water, a youth guard house and the St. Anna Chapel. In the fall, it is worth taking a look to the right and left. There is a good chance of coming across mushrooms. The last part of the ascent leads up a flight of steps to the Guschachopf viewpoint. The sunny spot invites you to linger and take a deep breath. The panoramic view reveals many details of the region, such as the Tamina bridge, which towers above the treetops.
The descent is mostly on a well-maintained hiking trail through the forest. Only a short section has to be covered on the asphalt road before returning to the hiking trail. The hike ends back in the center of Bad Ragaz.
