Directions

You start in Valé and take the hiking trail to Leis. The path then leads steeply up to Gadastatt. The continuation of the hike runs northwards, signposted with Stafelti, Leisalp. The path climbs steeply for a short time and crosses the long slope that extends from the village to the base of the Breitagrat. After another steep ascent, you reach the alpine pasture settlement of Stafelti. The path gently descends on the natural road to the Hängelahütte and continues past the Matta until a signpost leads you off the road onto a narrow path - past the Volchtanna - into a dense forest. Then back on the road for a short time before the path leads further through the forest towards the village. On the road, you turn right again to the back part of the village, back to Valé.
