Rundwanderweg Klosters Etappe 2 - Zwergenweg (oua_602271589_image)
Along the hiking trail, you will find lovingly staged 'dwarf worlds.' The path is kept very short, making it suitable for children. Please note that the trail is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Follow in the footsteps of the dwarf Purzel and experience a fabulous adventure in the forest of Klosters with your children. You will hike on forest paths and suspension bridges and get to know Purzel and his companions. Together with your children, you will build a dwarf house with a garden, dam streams, play games, and have lots of fun in the fresh air.

Description

For children, all objects and beings, especially in nature, are alive. Small children are emotionally very connected to their surroundings and are much more connected to it than adults. In this dreaming awareness, figures like dwarfs, elves, and gnomes live.

Many children lose the ability to see nature beings, to interact with them naturally, and to regard them as part of the real world. Increasing intellectual demands, as well as a lack of contact with nature, cause these spiritual perceptions to fade into the background or possibly vanish. Adults' handling of these topics also causes many children to doubt their perceptions and makes them feel they are doing something wrong.

The Zwergenweg is intended to give children the opportunity to live out their natural connection with nature and its beings. Therefore, we consciously avoid too many stimuli. Children and all adults should have the opportunity to live out their own imagination and enjoy nature in its diversity. The stories and play opportunities on the trail are merely meant to inspire all visitors.

We try to work as much as possible with natural materials and continually redesign the trail. Our work is voluntary, a contribution to nature, the children, and Klosters as a family holiday destination. The trail develops step by step, and your help is gladly accepted. If you see something that needs repair – do it! Keep crafting diligently with the children to beautify the Zwergenweg. Why not sew a dwarf hat at home with your children as a warm-up? We are grateful for all contributions. Above all, we hope you will re-engage with the world of dwarfs together with your children and enjoy nature with all your senses.

Hidden Gem

More information about the trail is available on the Zwergenweg website: www.zwergenweg-klosters.ch/. We ask you to leave the dwarf hats at the Töbelibach or on the Mälcheti so that other children can also enjoy them. Thank you very much.

Directions

From Klosters Platz station, follow the grey signposts towards 'Arena.' Pass the Arena, continue alongside the stream, pass the beach bath, until you reach Doggilochsee. Follow its shore until you come to the road on your right, then turn left and follow the road to the 'Brachweg' bus stop. Here you will find the first signpost labeled 'Zwergenweg.' From now on, always follow these wooden signs with colored lettering. You reach the end of the Zwergenweg when you arrive at the 'dwarf huts.' From there, follow the signposts across a meadow towards 'Aeuja Klosters.' When you reach the road, turn left and follow it until you arrive at the 'Aeuja Alte Post' bus stop.
