Description
Surrounded by an enchanting forest, the varied trail winds through the recreational area Tuf over a distance of about 1 km. Tuf is located at 1320 m above sea level and is very snowy thanks to its sheltered location. This also allows good training sessions or a cross-country skiing course on natural snow even in winters with little snow. Following the motto "small and fine," the Pro Siat association is also ready in winter to complement the winter offerings of Surselva.
Due to the topography, only trail preparation for skating is possible. The entire round is technically rather demanding, but there is the possibility to do a small round in the valley floor of Tuf.
The amount for using the trail is freely selectable. (Collection at the edge of the trail)
Hidden Gem
On a massive rock block above the village of Siat stand the remains of the former Friberg Castle, which belonged to the noble free men of the same name. If the snow conditions allow, a visit is definitely worthwhile.
Equipment
Standard cross-country ski equipment is sufficient.
Directions
The circular route starts at the parking lot in Siat, leads through the forest, and ends again at the parking lot.
