From the pass height about 250 m over the ridge to the west and then over the firn towards NE to P. 2602.

Cavardirashütte "The Wild Romantic"

A summer day at Cavardiras is heaven on earth. Nestled in an untouched, intact landscape of glacier and rock at the foot of the Oberalpstock, one of the most beautiful 3000ers in Graubünden, the hut offers comfort and original hut romance. Anyone vacationing in Graubünden will find a quiet place away from the beaten paths at Cavardiras. Manuela Fischer and Ueli Wiesmann with their daughters Lara and Wanda have been warmly welcoming you for over 25 years. They know the region like the back of their hand and also know old, almost forgotten stories and legends from Surselva and Uri. They know where the chamois and ibex graze. Where to find the mountain crystals, however, remains their well-kept secret. The personal contact with the hosts shapes the cozy stay. And maybe that's what makes the good kitchen, that even after more than 25 years of cooking with the simplest ingredients new creations keep appearing on the plate. For beautiful dreams, those who want can take a digestif outside. The entertainment at the Cavardirashütte is the mountain nature.
