Description

The starting point of the trail is the cable car mountain station Gotschnagrat. Accessible from Klosters Platz. Alternatively, the trail can also be started from Davos at the Parsennbahn middle station Höhenweg. Starting from the mountain station Gotschnagrat, the trail passes the Gotschnaseeli with magnificent views of the Silvretta and Albula Alps. After a short time, you reach the Parsennhütte. Then it continues on a wide path gently ascending to the Totalp and around the ridge of the Totalphorn into the sparsely vegetated Meierhofer Tälli. The landscape is characterized by scree. Soon after, you reach the Parsennbahn middle station Höhenweg, where there is the option to take the train down to Davos. Those who still have enough energy continue on the Höhenweg to the Strelapass, where you reach Schatzalp via the Schiatobel. Here, there is the next opportunity to take the funicular down to Davos Platz. Those who still want more can run via Grüenialp and Erbalp to Stafelalp and then down to Davos Frauenkirch, where the local bus takes you back to Davos.

Hidden Gem

- Those who do not want to start the trail from Klosters can alternatively start from Davos at the Parsenn middle station (Höhenweg).

- Dining options are provided by the mountain restaurants Gotschnagrat and Höhenweg, the Parsennhütte, the Strela Alp, or the Panorama Restaurant Schatzalp.

Safety Note
