Description

The trail starts at the Diavolezza valley station, analogous to the ski slope in winter, and then continues over beautiful single trails always along the rushing mountain river. After a steep ramp and a short push path, you reach the blue glacier lake Lej da Diavolezza. From here you follow the signpost over a narrow and steep path of stone and rubble, which later runs parallel to the old glacier covered in summer. It remains very rocky all the time, and every step should be well planned. Shortly before reaching the highest point, the path goes under the chairlift. From there, it is about 200 meters of elevation gain and 300 meters in distance to the mountain station of the chairlift. Suddenly, the imposing glacier massif of the Bernina group with Piz Palü, Piz Bellavista, Piz Bernina, and the gigantic Morteratsch glacier appears before you.
Over a wide rubble track, it goes with a slight uphill to the Berghaus Diavolezza. From the panoramic terrace, you can calmly watch the mountains. The way leads either back by gondola or downhill again via the outbound path.
