Description
On a little-used side road we hike down to the Rhine. Due to the fact that the river receives almost no sun in winter, the snow caps in the stream bed are preserved for a long time and the bushes on the shore are magically decorated with hoarfrost. In Cavardiras we look at the richly decorated church dedicated to Saint Sogn Antoni. In addition, the ringing of bells makes us curious and we take a look into an open stable where sheep spend the winter. We continue to Pardomat and Madernal and get back to the south side, to the sun. The trail leads near the river to Disla, another pretty hamlet. At the Ustria Fravia, which used to be a Schmide, we stop by. A beautiful place! The end of the hike leads us up to the cantonal road, through a sparse forest to Faltscharidas and back to our starting point.
