Details

Description

The route starts opposite the Davos Wolfgang High Alpine Clinic. Above Lake Davos, the trail leads you to the railway crossing, where the tracks can be crossed carefully. Now the right technique and fitness are required. Along the Drussetschabächli, it goes up a steep single trail about 200 meters in altitude to the wonderful Alp Drusatscha. The highest point of the stage is reached, but hopefully your breath isn’t out yet. Because some challenges still await you. On single trails and natural paths, you run through beautiful forests to above Grüenbödeli. Concentration is required at all times because some steep downhill passages should not be underestimated and require good technique as well as the right footwear. Above Grüenbödeli, the trail turns back and leads over Davos Laret to the Wolfgang Pass. Shortly before the pass summit, the path turns left and leads over gravel into the Deelewald, back to the starting point where the great route ends after about 9 kilometers.

Hidden Gem

How about a refreshing swim in Lake Davos? "Bachi’s Beach" scores with various homemade specialties and a top location right on the lake.

Safety Note

In the Davos Klosters destination, there are many managed alpine pastures with livestock. Therefore, expect to encounter animals everywhere. We ask for appropriate consideration.
