Description

Passing idyllic alp huts* it continues upward to Spatla Bella. From here, the path leads almost straight to the Dultschinas chairlift mountain station. Upon reaching the destination of the hike, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view over Domleschg and the fascinating mountain world of Graubünden. There are catering options at the valley and mountain stations of the chairlift. The return to the parking lot of the Lescha chairlift valley station can be done by chairlift, on foot, or by sled.
*The Maiensäss is a special form of alp. It is still below the tree line and consists of at least one hut and a stable. The word 'Maiensäss' derives from the month of May, when the cattle were first driven up; it therefore means 'May seat'. Today, Maiensäss are often popular holiday homes.
