Description

The route leads from Mels to Plons and from there over the tranquil, but amazingly beautiful Hinterberg to Geisswiesen. On this varied section you will find both colourful meadows and wet meadows. From Geisswiesen you follow the road to Schwarzenberg to the mountain pasture of Alp Kohlschlag, where the popular Sennäbeiz is located.

From Alp Kohlschlag, you drive briefly in the direction of Hintersäss, but then turn left after a few metres and cross the romantic Cholschlagerbach. Following the signposts, you now descend to the Chapfensee. The nature reserve is crossed on wide gravel paths, with several flat moors to marvel at on the left and right. At the rear dam you have the possibility to park your bike and explore the Einöd Chapfensee on foot.

You can get back to the valley via an easy-to-use Chapfenseestrasse and the Vermölerstrasse.

Geheimtipp

Take part in the E-Bike Alpen-Trophy: Collect stamps on 6 Alps and receive a culinary greeting at the end of the season.

Sicherheitshinweis

Drive with foresight and behave respectfully towards other recreation seekers and road users.

Ausrüstung

Normal bike equipment. Functional clothing is an advantage, as a longer climb is followed by an equally long descent.
