Description

The route leads from Mels to Plons and from there over the tranquil, but amazingly beautiful Hinterberg to Geisswiesen. On this varied section you will find both colorful lean meadows, as well as wet meadows. From Geisswiesen you follow the road to Schwarzenberg to the Vorsäss of Alp Kohlschlag, where the popular Sennäbeiz is located.

From Alp Kohlschlag you drive briefly in the direction of Hintersäss, but then turn left after a few meters and cross the romantic Cholschlagerbach. Along the signposts we now go down to the Chapfensee. The nature reserve is crossed on wide gravel paths, where there are several flat bogs to marvel at on the left and right. At the rear dam you have the possibility to park the bike and explore the Einod Chapfensee on foot.

Back to the valley you can reach via an easy-to-drive Chapfenseestrasse and the Vermölerstrasse.

Geheimtipp

Take part in the E-Bike Alpen-Trophy: Collect stamps on 5 Alps and receive a culinary greeting at the end of the season and, with a little luck, win gourmet prizes.

Sicherheitshinweis

Drive with foresight and behave respectfully towards other recreation seekers and road users.

Ausrüstung

Normal bike equipment. Functional clothing is an advantage, as a longer ascent is followed by an equally long descent.
