Easy, wonderful e-bike route with a detour to the Fadärastein (with/without bike). The destination is the Bergbeizli Valcaus, with a magnificent view over the Prättigau and the Bündner Rheintal!
Details
Description
This e-bike route mainly runs on paved melioration roads from Grüsch up to the Bergbeizli Valcaus. You follow the normal access road to Seewis. After the village, you ride on the agricultural road, which also serves as access for the farms up to Fadära. You should definitely "take" the Fadärastein; the view over the Bündner Rheintal is fantastic! After the detour, continue further up the road towards Bergbeizli Valcaus. Here, shady forest sections alternate with very sunny stretches. At Bergbeizli Valcaus, you can stop at any time; if the hosts are not there, you are welcome to help yourself from the self-service area. The ride back to Seewis leads again on a paved road, albeit on a different route.
Hidden Gem
The detour to the Fadärastein is definitely worth it! Since the last meters run on a difficult hiking path, it is recommended for less experienced riders to leave the bike on the road and make the detour on foot.
Equipment
Besides the basic bike equipment (helmet, glasses, gloves) and your personal items, we recommend a small backpack (light snacks, filled water bottle, pocket knife) as well as material for minor repairs (bike multitool, spare tube, pump).
