Details
Description
From Ilanz it goes along the Vorderrhein through a floodplain of national importance into the heart of the gorge to Versam Station. The Rhine Gorge is characterized by sandstone walls up to 300 meters high. The "Swiss Grand Canyon" offers unforgettable fauna and flora. Since there is still no continuous hiking trail between Versam Station and Trin Station, this section must be covered with the Rhaetian Railway. From the station Trin we continue on foot again. Along the river bank, the path leads to Reichenau, where the Vorderrhein and Hinterrhein merge.
hint
Attention: The section Versam Station-Trin Station is not accessible due to the nature reserve and must therefore be covered by the Rhaetian Railway.
