The trail begins at Alp Trida and leads over blooming alpine meadows to the Alpstein – one of the largest erratic boulders in Switzerland – and continues to Samnaun-Laret. The section up to the Alpstein is technically rated S1 to S2. From the Alpstein, the difficulty increases; the terrain becomes more challenging and requires solid riding technique (S3). Those who want to avoid this challenging section can alternatively follow the forest road to Samnaun-Laret.
