Description

From the sun-drenched mountain village of Feldis, the trail leads via Plaun Ground and the Feldiser Alp to the mountain lake Leg Palus. The view of the Chur Rhine Valley and the mountains with Tödi, Calanda massif and Ringelspitze is magnificent. But a look into the meadows is also worthwhile, because the alpine flora is particularly rich in treasures here. The destination and turning point of the hike is the Dreibündenstein (2,160 m above sea level). The Dreibündenstein marks the only common border point of the former three Rhaetian leagues, which existed until 1798. The original boundary stone from 1722 is now in the Rhaetian Museum in Chur. In 1915 it was replaced by a two-metre-high obelisk by the Rätia section of the Swiss Alpine Club. Around the striking stone you can rest wonderfully and enjoy the mountains. The panorama ranges from the mountains via Arosa and Lenzerheide to the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona. Via Term Bell and Culm Ault it goes to Alp dil Plaun and then with a view of Domleschg, Heinzenberg and the mighty Piz Beverin past the ski hut back to Feldis.

During the operating hours of the Sesselbahn Feldis – Mutta, the Dreibündenstein hike can be shortened with a chairlift ride. And: The journey with the Luftseilbahn Rhäzüns - Feldis high above the Rhäzünser Rheinauen is considered an insider tip.

Any hiking trail closures/restrictions or diversions can be found here.
