Details
Description
The route starts in Avers-Cresta at an altitude of 1960 m above sea level. At the upper village exit, take the hiking trail towards Täli Furgga. The path steadily ascends above the Malegga stream in several switchbacks into the 'Täli'. From an altitude of 2300 m above sea level, continue along the Malegga stream to the fork at point 2515. We leave the path to Täli Furgga and go right towards the Upper Band lake.
The path to the upper Band lake is well marked. Soon the upper Band lake shines in its full beauty and purity. Resting on the shore, enjoying the silence, and watching the fish hunting for mosquitoes makes the hike an unforgettable experience.
