Scenic route ascending on the sunny side of the valley.
Details
Description
Lots of sunshine and a wonderful view make the effort of this half-day route worthwhile.
Hidden Gem
The view from Leisalp across to the opposite mountains and far into the neighbouring valleys, partly as far as Pizzas d'Anarosa, is overwhelming.
A detour to the Hängelahütte mountain restaurant is worthwhile: magnificent view, very good food with local products. Info: www.haengela.ch
Safety Note
Surefootedness and a head for heights required.
On this route you must expect to encounter cows with calves.
