Directions

From the mountain station of the Gadastatt gondola lift, take a narrow path out of the valley towards Stafelti and continue on the freight road to Leisalp. From the Leisalp almost flat further out of the valley to Schloss und Brand. There are some alpine and mountain huts. From Brand into the valley gently descend towards Hüttenen and An der Matta (Maiensässen). From there to Volchtanna and follow the signs, descending in curves down the slope back to Vals.
