Guscha ridge path

Description
The starting point is the mountain station of the gondola in Flums Kleinberg. Compared to the opposite, well-known hiking and winter sports resort Flumserberg, this area has remained very family-friendly and small and is considered a insider tip for nature lovers both in summer and winter.
From the mountain station, the path leads over meadows and through sparse forests. After about half an hour, you leave the forest and reach the wide, open moor and alpine landscape of Fulriet/Mädems. At the Alp Mädems buildings (where you can buy delicious alpine cheese), the path branches off to the right and the ascent follows over the slope to Chammhüttli.
The ridge and panoramic path over Vorderchamm to the Guscha summit is a real pleasure with a unique panoramic view: On the opposite valley side lies the Palfries plateau with the Alvier range behind. To the left are the Flumserberge, to the right the Pizol area, and below stretches the entire Seez valley. The descent is on a relatively narrow and partly steep but well-passable path.
