Description
The mountain route to the local mountain of Vättis is demanding and recommended only for experienced hikers. The very steep climbing mountain path leads from Vättis through dense fir forest over rock steps to Gonschrolaboden. Between impressive rock walls, you reach the Tüfelschilchli. In an airy, simple ridge walk, you reach the summit at 1862 meters altitude with a fantastic panoramic view. At Calanda, a large ibex colony is at home; almost certainly, on every tour, you can observe the proud Grisons heraldic animals with their majestic antlers.
Safety Note
Some parts of the route can be slippery depending on weather conditions.
